The reviews are always raving when it comes to Buffalo Bar & Grill. Along with serving fantastic American cuisine, with a lot of healthy and traditional dishes, there's also a full bar and live music, with a lot of original cocktails.

Spur Bar is a great bar with friendly bartenders and customers. The only food they serve is their Sunday breakfast and it is very good; however, this place has pool tables, a jukebox and shuffleboard. Moreover, great drinks and some local beers are also on offer.

Sportsman's Chalet is located in the nearby town of Strawberry. Two stories of nighttime fun can be found, with eating and drinking taking place on the first floor and billiards more so on the second floor. There is a full bar and a menu of pub fare. The burgers are always freshly grilled and cooked to order.

Double D's is a local staple of good ole Payson charm. The ambiance is warm with rustic decor and a friendly staff. There's a full bar and a menu with delicious food. Try the special Double D burger (complete with green chilies, Swiss cheese, and two meaty patties).

Located in Tonto Basin, the Punkin Center Bar has a volleyball court, 3 horseshoe pits, a bocce ball court, a shuffleboard table, and 2 indoor pool tables. The back patio makes for a wonderful view of the Arizonan sunsets.
